About Jim GreinerJim Greiner is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed percussionist, corporate drumming pioneer, educator, inspirational speaker and drum circle/community drumming leader. Jim conducts corporate team building drumming programs worldwide from his base in the Monterey Bay Area of California.
He has been playing hand drums and percussion instruments since 1970, including two years in Africa where he was deeply moved by the power of group drumming to build community bonds, invigorate and focus people, release stress and enhance a spirit of celebration. Jim plays Congas, Bongos, Timbales, Djembe, Ashiko, Shekere and other shakers, Udu, claves, bells & blocks, cymbals & gongs and percussion sound effects. He performs and does recording sessions in a wide range of musical styles including contemporary & traditional Caribbean & African, Rock, Funk, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz and Pop.
